nathanallan #51 Posted October 15, 2009 Stone already answered for me, but no, I still haven't gotten either. kind of a crisis happening here, I'm not able to make any purchases right now. A couple of guys came in at the last minute last night looking for a Nomad when I showed them my poster of the GenMobile-- they want two of them but they didn't preorder. I offered but they wanted it in their hands. I totally feel you, Stone, about taking preorders and it's even worse when nobody wants to preorder because of frekkin Gamestop here, they are late with everything and mishandle the preordered items. I know people who got their Halo 2 disks from a GS preorder scratched and obviously used-- GS in my area did that to them, so it left a bad taste in their mouths for preordering stuff
Video #52 Posted October 15, 2009 Gee guys, turn into a oldschool version of a modern gamestop why don't you? Actually, if we had a game store around here, that actually delt in old school schit, and was ordering something like this, I'd probably actually preorder one (but only at a local BaM store)

Video #54 Posted October 18, 2009 Nice, doesn't look quiet as rediculous as the Nintendo FC Mobile with a cart stuck in it
fiddlepaddle #55 Posted October 18, 2009 I'll get one as soon as I can find one where I can touch it first; never preordered anything in my life, except my TRS 80 (1978). I'll probably buy it (at a somewhat inflated price, I expect) at some game show eventually.

jeremysart #57 Posted October 19, 2009 I like the Gen Mobile by Hyperkin, they make good products. They are also good at fixing issues from previous products. The FC Mobil II is beautiful! Although it does not surprise me that Sega has officially licensed it. They will license anything they can, they have always been that way. Look at Duke Nukem 3D for Genesis that was release in Brazil..

Look at Duke Nukem 3D for Genesis that was release in Brazil.. That is one game that I want. I'm also looking forward to the GenMobile. Not that I'm holding out for it in spite of the RetroGen, but can't get one right now. AtGames has a good history with me, and Hyperkin does too. OldSKoolFool #59 Posted November 13, 2009 looks interesting... from the videogamecentral website: The Retro Gen is like a newer version of the Sega Nomad plus. This portable Sega system can play Sega Genesis carts plus, Mega Drive carts (Japanese Sega Genesis). It also has an included TV out function so that you can connect this portable to any TV set for full size gameplay. This new unit also features the arcade style button layout plus a built-in rechargable battery via USB so that you never need a set of batteries! All that plus it's built on the Firebox technology so that you can use development carts to download new future DLC games! http://store.videogamecentral.com/sega-gen...e-retrogen.html Hey Old Schoolers, It's Old SKool Fool from the days of chunky plastic and adapters that take up one whole wall outlet!
