I have to say this really is a first class idea, it works 100%, DOSBox never crashes. I so glad Gorf thought this up and shared it with us all.....

I've got Notepad++ set up to run DOSbox, which has an autoexec that assembles into a cof, and then copies the file to *.abs in the Vjag folder, and then quits. takes about 3 seconds to complete. Then I just "jaguar/load..." and test.

 

Ahhhh, so it wasn't his idea at all. No wonder it works

3) You accuse people of stealing ideas and taking credit. Yet you yourself just did that very same thing. Don't tell me your not getting patted on the back over at JS2 by all your chummy friends for "sharing your knowledge" regarding this. They're even taking cheap shots at people for not sharing anything. I've released the Jetpac source for people to look at. Sure it's not the best game ever, but shit, it's something POSITIVE. Go on, take the piss out of its graphics and bitch it doesn't use the system. Don't you think I knew that when I wrote it? Seriously, you are one screwed up individual if you think the first thing someone does when they get a devkit is immediatly produce Doom. There is a learning curve to the Jaguar. Some people get over it and thingk the system is then easy to code on. Others harp on for 10 years about how difficult it is. If it's so hard, why don't you go back to BASIC? It's not like Gorf and Surrounded couldnt be written in that, now is it?

 

4) You keep repeating over and over and over to use SMAC. Yet you just proved your using DOSBox as your main development system.

 

5) You bash reboot for not helping anyone, yet they've been the ones reporting bugs to SubQMod for the last month and helped isolate and fix some serious issues in SMAC. I don't know WTF you've been doing for the last 10 years if you couldn't have found these bugs yourself and contributed.

 

6) Please, leave and go back to your retarded friends at JS2. What with all the devs leaving there recently, they need more people over there to stroke. Hopefully all the asshats will go there, and Jay will lock the doors and keep the retardednes confined to one server, away from the rest of the internet.

 

Oh and Gorf. Go buy some lube, and a stock of Jagpads. And seriously, try to reply using one post instead of 8. It'll make the moderators job of cleaning up your mess much easier.

Read some history moron. It's real easy to omit the history to bolster your bullshit.

Gorf was done on the Jaguar while I was laering the GPU because it is my fav game.

Gorf was part of a trilogy that got split up because we did not want to cut out parts

of Pluz and 3D just to fit it. Then of course the whole Midway issue but of course we

forget the details when they don't serve our purposes now don't we.

 

Then of course Surounded was a free demo game. The first FREE 3D Demo game

BTW. In fact even with 68k C code I got it to 20FPS at best now its 60 FPS all the

time. It does drop slighty during the mass explosion but that is due to the lame

Atari rendere we are using. At least we are using it and actually working of games

that take advantage of the machine and not just to pump out titles to get praise.

 

Now I have a dozen 3D projects in the works of which there are movies on line

to view. So this bullshit of Gorf and Surrounded are the only thing I ever did

with the jaguar shows your are simply a clueless bullshit administer.

I never once complained about Jetpac other than it's just more of the same that killed the Jaguar's market. This was not a shot at you
