tisaperfectdayelise #2 Posted July 3, 2009 Was thinking of grabbing a couple things.. anyone have any bad experiences? http://www.theelectronicspowerhouse.com/atari-2600.html I'd stay away from them, based on the fact that they're charging $10 for Frogger. You can do much better elsewhere. Old carts are pretty low-risk, especially for titles as common as those. Please, don't pay those ridiculous prices... Artlover #3 Posted July 3, 2009 Funny thing is the prices on stuff for others consoles seems to be between around normal and low.

I thought their prices seemed fairly high, too. bbildakid, try using the Wanted section of the Marketplace forum if you're looking for specific cartridges. Some people have boxes of common stuff sitting around that they'd probably sell at a reasonable price, particularly to someone who's just building up their collection. I have such a box of that isn't worth actually listing for sale, but if I knew someone was looking for something I had, I'd probably go digging around to find it for them. (btw - is that "bil da kid" or "bild a kid"? )

+save2600 #6 Posted July 3, 2009 Looks like an urban-fied kid (the subwoofers are a dead giveaway) with a few crappy plastic stereo systems "for lease". lol Gosh, not even rent-to-own? The phrases 'red flag' and 'Caveat Emptor' come to mind Outside of the prices, I'm sure the guy's okay though. We have a small ma/pa vacuum store in town here where business must have been poor enough to let their kid sell car stereo crap out of. lol Yeah, in the store front, in between a Dyson & Electrolux, are these wigger-type subwoofers. LOL! Oh, and of course, it's in the absolute worst side of town too - surprise. A few blocks away from a Walgreens that's closing its doors due to excess theft from the great neighbourhood. These are sad, sad times we live in folks.
bbildakid #7 Posted July 5, 2009 OK LOL.. having talked to these guys back and forth via email like 70 times trying to convince them their prices are horrible. I was able to get a $5 off coupon code. To "try them out". I don't know how long it will last but it is $5 off anything no catches or min to buy, so grab something for free LOL just give me 15 min to use it. Coupon code 5promo6tep But a real question, the mini complete 2600 jr system. is $49 a good price? And does the F adapter to coaxial (on the same page) work on any tv set? (sorry bout the newbie questions)
