I am looking for people to play atari over the Internet.

If you got PCAE 2.6 and would like to play a round of Combat,

The latest version PCAE supports the Kaillera middleware. Kaillera enables emulators to play on the Internet. Many emulators have integrated Kaillera clients into their code (it's free of course). It's very popular among fans of the capcom fighting games. You can find more info at http://www.kaillera.com/

 

From PCAE 2.6 you open a Kaillera window which gives you a list of the closest Kaillera servers. You log into a server and see what games are running or waiting for players to jump in. It's really simple to use and PCAE displays an extra chat window while you are playing an atari game.

I haven't used PCAE or Kaillera in awhile but if I can get the new versions up and running on my PC in the next few days I'll send you off an email or IM. I wouldn't mind trying out some combat over the net.

tried before but the kalleria crap didnt work.. i wish it had tcp/ip connect

You can connect through direct TCP/IP. For example, I start a Kaillera server on my PC and give you my address. After that, you would only have to enter the IP address from PCAE.

That's really cool, I had no idea you could play online. If any of you guys that want to play have AOL or Yahoo instant messengers, please post those as well. I don't have ICQ. I'm going to download the new software and hopefully we all can get a little gaming going between us.
