VectorGamer #1 Posted July 9, 2009 How the heck do you get passed those two consecutive rocks on the second level? I tried slow. I tried fast. I just can't get it!
yuppicide #2 Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) I would say you shoot one, jump the other. You probably know when they're coming up, so time your fire early and then get ready to jump. Edited July 9, 2009 by yuppicide
StanJr #3 Posted July 9, 2009 or if you are quick enough, just shoot them both. Wait until you get to the tanks...
yuppicide #4 Posted July 10, 2009 I am definitely not as good as I used to be at Moon Patrol and I'm nowhere near as good on the 2600 as I was in the arcade.
2600Lives #5 Posted July 10, 2009 Doot doot doot doot doo doo doo doo doo... Damn, the Moon Patrol music will NEVER leave my brain. I'd say shoot 'em, actually. I try to shoot the rocks, as it's just safer than jumping.
VectorGamer #6 Posted July 10, 2009 I would say you shoot one, jump the other. You probably know when they're coming up, so time your fire early and then get ready to jump. Remember that those ditches are right behind the rocks. So I shoot and kill the first rock then jump but by the time I land it's too late to jump the next ditch or shoot the next rock... VectorGamer #7 Posted July 10, 2009 I am definitely not as good as I used to be at Moon Patrol and I'm nowhere near as good on the 2600 as I was in the arcade. I probably played Moon Patrol once when it was in the arcade back in the day. I couldn't understand the fuss when I popped in the 2600 version as I thought it was pretty lame. However, I have a new found respect for the game when I played the C64 version.
