ericwierson #1 Posted July 12, 2009 Just a quick question. I have never even heard of this title and by the amount of references of it in the threads I had to look into it. Does anyone have a picture of the box anywhere? I googled it and did not find any pics. of the box. I did an A.A. search and could not find any pics. of the box. I hope this topic has not been beaten to death and thus anger the mods.

According to this tread, it has a gatefold style box.

It seems to me that this is just some knock off game perpertrated by some smart Mexican entrepreneurs ( I came to this conclusion by reading the Air Raid threads). Mr. Postman #4 Posted July 12, 2009 Thanks W.C. I did read that post. It seems to me that this is just some knock off game perpertrated by some smart Mexican entrepreneurs ( I came to this conclusion by reading the Air Raid threads). Air Raid is just a Mexican Hack of Space Jockey. Personally, I collect 2600 bootlegs, but by no means should a bootleg be considered the "Holy Grail" of 2600 carts. Is it rare? Sure. Lots of weird old bootlegs are rare.

Wp Well, the sounds, gameplay, enemy movements, and all 16 difficulties are identical. Air Rad is more fun because of the vertical orientation, making the enemies first appear closer than they would in a horizontal orientation. Anyhoo, both Space Jockey and Air Raid are a bore unless you're playing in AA difficulty and game 15. I'd play on game 16, but your bullets moving with your ship movements just seems goofy. Godzilla #7 Posted July 12, 2009 I've always loved the rhythm of the moving guided shots, in demon attack, mega mania and space jockey, among others. never played air raid, tho. bit rich for my blood
