Buddy's Garage Finds

My best bud from way back asked me to help him clean his Garage today... in exchange he offered me dinner, and any old video game stuff we found as we cleaned. Here's what about 5 hours of hard work scored me.

 

1x Fairchild VES/Complete in box with Montgomery Wards $150 price tag still on box

2x Fairchild carts/Complete in box #3 and #4 (He claims he has more "somewhere")

2x 2600 Heavy Sixers in Atari Game Center "Cases"/Manuals and hookups for each, but no boxes.

4x Sets of Paddle Controllers

4x Keyboard Controllers

4x Standard Atari Controllers

2x 3rd party controllers/The Mfgr Stickers came off I have no idea what brand these are.

1x Kids controller, no overlays (Dangit!)

 

2600 Carts (All carts had corrosponding manuals)

Wow! Thats great! I wish I could get deals like that... Well... I did get a chance to dig trough my uncles house when he mooved. I got some Nintendo strategy guides and Armor Ambush. :)

Cause one thing's for sure, with a haul like that, "cleaning up" is both figurative AND literal! :D :D

Wow! You really did nice for yourself. For 5 hours worth of work, you got a great deal of stuff and even got dinner. Besides the items that you picked up, how did your friend's garage sale turn out?

Wow all you do to is help him AND you got dinenr???I'd say that was a really good deal!Helping your friend out and getting lots of free stuff,and dinner!Way to go! :D :) ;)

I'd say that the "actiplaque-free" Activision carts would have been worth the admission price alone. Nice haul!

Yeah I couldn't believe the labels were perfect... I wanted to shout, but if he knew how valuable a perfect Activision label was to the Atari enthusiast he probably would have changed his mind ;-)
