So how many have you completed? Myself I know for sure it's over 500 maybe more if I sat down to think about all the titles over the years. I've been playing games sense late 1983 so 500+ isn't *too* pathetic I guess

Genesis:

Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Strider

Revenge Of Shinobi

Forgotten Worlds

Ghouls & Ghosts

Mega Turrican

DJ Boy

Starflight

SNES:

Super Mario World

Street Fighter II: World Warrior (On Level 7, perfect, with every character except Zangief.)

Final Fantasy II

My track record for post-SNES consoles is pretty sorry. I've owned PSX, N64, Dreamcast and XBOX... I think "Crash Bandicoot 2" is the only game from all these that I've bothered to play all the way through. Maybe also "Ridge Racer Type 4".

I voted 250-500, but it's probably getting very close to 500 by now. Of course, it depends a bit on your definition of "beat", i.e. whether getting to the end of a game like Chuck Norris Superkicks or Raiders of the Lost Ark counts. Plus some folks would rule out the use of savestates, autofire, slowdown (via NES Advantage), etc. But even by the strictest definition, I'm pretty sure I've got at least 250.

well i did beat guilty gear x (gba emu version) and i don't even light fighters

Also i have beaten joust (got to level 99 with cheating) on the A8 and also clocked the max score (twice) on A8 defender (without cheating)...back in the day

I did clock the basic level setting of the GBA emu version of millipede (max score is 100k) (no cheating)

I have seen the end sequences in the gba emu version of all 3 castlevania games)

Hi guys,

Too many!! I think like 900+ and still counting. At the time, the 3 most important moments in my life were

1. Beating every game known to man!

2. Teaching at my colleges.

3. Getting laid by my broads. \ml(X_X)\m/

Anthony....

I have zero clue, I do know that before I got a job, I tended to finish more games than I do now, though that's not to say I don't still finish a lot of games (if their good) just I have a wider range of stuff to pick from.

I'd say 50-100, probably low (probably way to low actually) but if I try to think of all the games I've beaten, I'd be here a week leaving a mile long post :P

Oh, and LOL to "I've played so many damn games my skin no longer holds pigment" (that could go with World of Warcraft too though :P

I didn't beat many games over the years, a few more than 50 IIRC. A few i remember beating:

Panzer Dragoon Saga (SAT)

Story of Thor (Mega Drive)

Story of Thor II (SAT)

Mystaria (SAT)

Secret of Mana (SNES)

Mystic Quest Legend (SNES)

Deep Fear (SAT)

Illusion of Time (SNES)

Demon's Crest (SNES)

The 2 SNES Castlevania's

Several side-scrolling beat 'em ups on the SNES together with a friend like Final Fight 1+2, King of Dragons, Sailor Moon, Legend, Captain Commando etc.

But the most fun was beating X-Out and Turrican 1+2 on the C64!

I'm going to be conservative and say 150-250. I stopped keeping track of games completed early in the NES years - and at that point it was already poking over 90.

Not that many really. I don't have an over abundance of patience for most long games. My attention span isn't exactly what it used to be. :P

Ones that I can think of off hand are:

Pitfall (2600)

Pitfall II (2600)

Raiders of the Lost Ark (2600)

E.T. (2600)

Legend of Zelda (NES) (First time around that is. I've never came close to finishing the 2nd world)

Gauntlet (Tengen version) (NES)

The Lost Vikings (Gen)

Lifeforce (NES)

Virtua Cop (Sautrn)

Gubble (PS1)

Time Crisis (PS1)

Time Crisis II (PS2)

Time Crisis 3 (PS2)

Lethal Enforcers (Gen)

Malcom Mortar (CoCo 3)

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (Cloudy Mountain) (INTV)

James Bond 007 (A8)

Alien Invaders Plus! (O2)

So that's 18. Not under 10 nor between 20 to 30 so there's no category for me. How about "Sad" but not totally pathetic. Of coarse that's a matter of interpretation. :P
