Video #2 Posted July 15, 2009 (edited) I'd ordinarly say 'it's probably for an actual famicom game, so that the thing will boot under the SNES's different "varification" code or some such.' but that's weird, cause as far as I'm aware, the only reason the two consoles aren't compatible is because there's tabs in the bottom of the SNES, which you just shave off and it works so...Dunno. Quick question, it's hard to see from the pics, but it looks like the same size slot as the large center slot on the bottom, if so that's really weird. Some Games didn't work with gameshark, as it didn't have the extra tabs on the side, maybe you could use a GS with one of those games with this? All I can say is, probably going to have to just try stuff and findout. Edited July 15, 2009 by Video
fiddlepaddle #3 Posted July 16, 2009 The upper slot appears to have 46 pins, but they are closer together than the standard slot. Maybe this slot was made for SNES-compatible games made in some proprietary hardware configuration?
