sl0re #2 Posted July 16, 2009 Hi I am thinking about getting either a SIO2IDE or SIO2SD device. First can someone pleae tell me if these are any good and reliable. And also which is the better out of SIO2IDE or SIO2SD? Many thanks for your time. Regards They are both good and reliable. I lean towards the 2IDE one since it is more flexible about what you can attach it to (with cheap adapters, SD or just about anything else). Also, for non master solders like myself, it's actually really hard to mount the SD in a case. The SIO2IDE is easier because it has fewer features (judge as you will) / is more like a circuit board you can just hide in something (re: no buttons or screen you need to get to). +bcombee #3 Posted July 16, 2009 I'm very happy with my SDrive NUXX; I built mine from c0nsumer's PC board and parts I ordered myself, but he still has a few assembled devices that he's sell if you don't want to solder it up yourself.
mimo #4 Posted July 27, 2009 sdrive all the way, my _nuxx versions are totally reliable, even though I built c0nsumers kits myself. Go for the morethangames one if you can't afford the seriously professional looking _nuxx version
