STICH666 #2 Posted July 16, 2009 Has anyone here ever donated to him before? I put Dracula X in the mail tonight. I just hope he gets around to reviewing it. He really needs to start releasing reviews every week. I mean come on Classic Game Room releases them every day and his are just as long and/or long and they're just as good. AVGN releases a new review almost every 2 weeks. Nostalgia Critic releases a new review almost every 3 days, and he has tons of other stuff to do like Video Game Confessions, Bum Reviews, and TGWTG. Frankly I think AVGN is becoming a little less angry.
chrisbid #4 Posted July 16, 2009 why do people donate stuff to him? sure, he can be funny at times, but i wouldnt send him valuable gaming type stuff in the hope that a tiny spec of internet fame rubs off of him and onto me.

Sgt.Pepper1983 #6 Posted July 16, 2009 It's a bad game. Castlevania 2 and castlevania adventure are the only two games in the series that are worse than this one. No matter how rare or "valuable" it is doean't change the fact that it sucks.

STICH666 #8 Posted July 16, 2009 He has so many backed episodes that he hasn't released yet. He still needs to release his NeoGeo AES, Sega Pico, Wonderswan and PIPPIN reviews.
Sgt.Pepper1983 #9 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) I also sent it to him because when I tried selling it for $70 no one thought it was worth buying even though it goes for $100 on ebay. Edited July 16, 2009 by Sgt.Pepper1983
Gamera809 #10 Posted July 16, 2009 Funny I replied to this topic on NintendoAge as well. I'll just repost what I typed in on NA. Here's a link to his console/game collection: http://www.cinemassacre.com/new/?page_id=

But that would be a waste of perfectly good feces.
Baloo #13 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Yeah, the stuff this guy gets for free is unbelievable. He's basically got a full NES collection except for the three Panesian games, Little Samson, Bonk's Adventure, the 6-in-1 Myriad cart, and Flintstones 2. Supposedly when he said that he didn't have a Saturn people sent him so many Saturns he told everyone to stop sending him Saturns. I mean seriously, this dude must have a lot of stuff. I like watching him, but I highly doubt I would ever send him anything. Edited July 16, 2009 by Baloo

The guy on CGR sounds like he is bored with what he does. If you look at his episode intros, you see game & hardware footage for episodes not yet seen. Just because it is in the intro doesn't necessarily mean it's an episode. Anyways, there's sometimes good intermittent footage shown in the intros. It should be in episodes.

mbd30 #20 Posted July 17, 2009 Lately I've been watching Youtube reviews of "Action 52". I know it's an awful game, but why must internet video game reviewers act like they have Tourettes Syndrome by dropping f bombs every other word? It's not that funny. In fact it gets old fast. THE AVGN is a bad influence.

THE AVGN is a bad influence. I agree. It makes it hard to watch most "reviews" (read: Hate Mongering" on many intarwebz. They try to be just like the AVGN, but they fall flat on their faces, and simply show to the world they unoriginality.
2600Lives #22 Posted July 17, 2009 The reason he doesnt' release every week is twofold. He is currently under contract with GameTrailers, and they require him to release on a set schedule, so he likely did this to make sure he has time to do everything right. He also works outside the videos. He's got a full time job editing wedding videos, and also does stuff for Spike. He's also trying to become an actual film director (more power to him!), so he shoots all sorts of other things. The AVGN was never anything more than something fun he did to begin with. Herbarius #23 Posted July 17, 2009 I really like this video: Yes I know, it's not real but a fan edit (cut together from different AVGN episodes), but nevertheless funny as hell. Especially with the music... Imagine that would happen to you, yes it's technically impossible, but think magic, some kind of evil curse...
SEgamer #24 Posted July 18, 2009 I'll see your Dracula X and send him Snatcher, complete! Anyway, you could've sold it here or on ebay and pretended that the game was going to him. @Herbarius: great video
