game cube lcd screen by Intec PSU?

Recommended Posts

Hiya. I just found an Intec LCD Screen that snaps on top of the Game Cube. It was only a couple bucks at the thrift, so seemed worth the risk. It's purple, and looks like it could be a pretty early model. Thing about it is that its got its own power supply jack. The newer Intec I have taps power from the Cube's psu, but this needs its own. It's a female power jack on a cable, but there's no indication of voltage or polarity. I'm guessing it's likely 12 vols as I think pretty much all LCD's are, but I don't want to fry it because of poor polarity. Any of you guys have this unit? It's got an AV input jack too BTW.

Thanks for any help!

I've got that one. There was a Y jack splitter on the original that could feed off of the GameCube's power supply....was the Y jack missing?

A few bucks is an awesome deal.

Same deal here, I have the splitter that lets you just plug in the gamecube or the cube and lcd screen.
