Funny article -- but I was only 7 when SI came out so, needless to say, I wasn't playing it in a bar.

They had one at the neighborhood convenience store (cleverly named Convenient -- I shit you not) and that's where I honed my chops (or at least what passed for them to an uncoordinated 7-yr. old.)

Yeah, I was only 8 when it came out...but, I can remember playing the cocktail version of it at Pizza Hut and the cabinet at the old Fun City at the Park City Mall in Lancaster, PA...

He nailed it...concise and accurate. Every Friday night it was: get a beer, look (briefly) at any chicks hanging out in the bar, then go put a quarter on the Space Invaders machine and await my turn.
