Captain Beard #2 Posted July 21, 2009 Funny article -- but I was only 7 when SI came out so, needless to say, I wasn't playing it in a bar. They had one at the neighborhood convenience store (cleverly named Convenient -- I shit you not) and that's where I honed my chops (or at least what passed for them to an uncoordinated 7-yr. old.) Yeah, I was only 8 when it came out...but, I can remember playing the cocktail version of it at Pizza Hut and the cabinet at the old Fun City at the Park City Mall in Lancaster, PA... fiddlepaddle #4 Posted July 22, 2009 He nailed it...concise and accurate. Every Friday night it was: get a beer, look (briefly) at any chicks hanging out in the bar, then go put a quarter on the Space Invaders machine and await my turn.
