Gavica #1 Posted July 21, 2009 (edited) The control Pod on the system broke and I sent it to Logitech for warranty and they sent me a whole new Z5500 set, so now I have a spare set minus the control pod. I have tested it with the New control pod and it works beatifully. Included: -Original Box -5x Satellite Speakers -1x Subwoofer -5x Speaker Wire -1x Orange/Black/Green Audio Cable -1x Remote Control -Instruction Manuals Asking $110 + $50S&H = $160 My Ebay Feedback: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tab=AllFeedback Edited July 30, 2009 by Gavica
SRGilbert #3 Posted July 25, 2009 I have a set of those and they are pretty nice, but aren't they pretty much useless without the control pod? I mean the speakers are just regular speakers, but I know for a fact the subwoofer has no other input besides the proprietary connector to the control pod. IceCold #4 Posted July 26, 2009 I thought I recognized this listing... ..but then I realized it wasn't from me seeing it on Atariage. I saw your listing on BYOAC too lol. I think the main question you'll see is the one SRGilbert asked, is there a way to use this set without the control pod? If there's an easy enough way to use it as it is, then that $300 pair of speakers for $125 looks pretty nice... I'm not real interested in buying anyways, but you got a free thread bump from me at least
Gavica #5 Posted July 26, 2009 (edited) The Control Pod is a MUST to use this, this is why I put them for cheap, you have to buy or acquire a control pod from elsewhere like craigslist or ebay. Or maybe someone needs the subwoofer or speakers as replacement. Edited July 26, 2009 by Gavica
