flammingcowz #1 Posted July 22, 2009 I have had the game Space Attack for a while without knowing how to play it. After reading the manual here on AA, and beating it, I don't really see much left to this game. Just wanted to know what you guys thought of it. brojamfootball #2 Posted July 22, 2009 I actually just recently got that game myself and have yet to play it. I'll try and fire it up tomorrow and compare notes with you.
Lord Thag #3 Posted July 22, 2009 Did you play it on hard? It's much more fun. It's a little known fact that this was orinally supposed to be a Battlestar Galactica game too. IT's fun in short bursts. I had it back in the day. Played it fairly often too.
BSA Starfire #4 Posted July 22, 2009 I like it despite only having the NTSC copy over here in PAL land so the colours are wrong(made deciphering the manual more difficult:)). It's different enough from the other Star Raiders clones to be worth a play. IMHO better than Atari's Star Raiders & Imagic's Star Voyager but inferior to Phaser Patrol & Starmaster. But I like Star Ship so what would I know??
StanJr #5 Posted July 22, 2009 Pretty much agree with the consensus: It's fun in short bursts, but you can play it, beat it, and then forget about it for a year or so until you get the urge to run through it again. Starmaster is far its superior. Not bad, though.
darthkur #6 Posted July 22, 2009 It's not a bad game. The original on the Intellivision is better though and more suited to the more complex controller. It's too bad it wasn't released as a Battlestar Galactica game. It would've made it more popular. At least they left the enemy ship as Cylon Raiders anyway. I always enjoyed that.
