mckafka99 #1 Posted July 23, 2009 Wasn't sure if this should go here or on the Jag forum, but it you were a fan of the Jag version and have an iPhone/iPod Touch, this is worth getting. http://toucharcade.com/2009/07/20/amiga-cl...s-in-app-store/
DaytonaUSA #2 Posted July 23, 2009 Wow.. 5.99 is a bit steep. The Deep is much better and it's only 99 cents. That and Wild West Pinball by the same maker is free.
Chickybaby #3 Posted July 23, 2009 Ouch yeah 5.99 is a bit pricey although it looks like many of them are 3.99-5.99 unfortunately. Although, I have been looking for some good pinbally games for my IPod Touch that are either free demos or around the $1 mark which isn't gonna happen, lol. If it somehow involves tilting the iphone/ipod touch I'm out.
mckafka99 #6 Posted July 24, 2009 I know it was a little pricey, but it has been worth it to me. Easier to play this than to dig out the Jag everytime I'd like to play. I know there are cheap/freebies there; I have WW pinball, but it isnt quite the same; PD and PF are really nice. To flip, you just tap in the lower left/right hand corners of the screen. Warriorisabouttodie #7 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) there is a lite version with one ball and one table you can download for free. It's not bad really brings back memories of many hours spent playing on my Amiga 500, but lately I have been using the Nintendo DS for my portable gaming fix. Unrelated, but Amiga fans might notice the famous astronomical software Distant Suns has been converted for the Iphone/Ipod touch and it is awesome. I used it today to get the perfect viewing spot for the Persiod Meteor shower. Edited August 12, 2009 by Warriorisabouttodie
Warriorisabouttodie #8 Posted August 17, 2009 Pinball Dreams/Fantasies whatever, went on sale a couple days ago for 3 bucks, so I picked it up. It's a pretty good game for the ipod/iphone. I haven't found a game for this platform that really blows me away. It's no substitute for a Nintendo DS, but then as far as APP's go, well there is a ton of great things, so it averages out in the end.
