Ed, Edd n Eddy Adventure/rpg: M.E.D. (Mission Ed Impossible)

Ok here I am again! I have just started a Ed, Edd n Eddy game based on the cartoon from Cartoon Network! Why? Because it is a freaking awesome cartoon.

 

STORY:

 

The Ed(d)s are at it again... Looking for money to buy jawbreakers. They must search around town for quarters. When they find one, they must go to the candy store to buy jawbreakers before it closes! The problem is the Kanker sisters are out to get them and take them away from their duties!

 

HOW TO PLAY:

 

You start the game at Eds house which is the respawn point if you get caught by a Kanker sister. You have 3 lives (or Eds) to use before you lose the game. You must find a quarter and go to the pink candy store to buy a jawbreaker. Once you get the quarter you must get to the candy store before the timer on the left runs out or its game over...

 

SCORING SYSTEM:

 

A quarter is +25 points

A jawbreaker is +100 points

Every 3 jawbreakers you get is +1000 points

 

I plan to add other features to the game but this is just a demo to see if you like the idea.

I will also try to add the theme song from the cartoon to this, but I dont know how to and will likely need help on that...

Why does the score constantly change colors? It's sort of irritating in an epileptic seizure kind of way.

I did not know that show was still on.

 

It is not a bad little game. Can you add anything to the open rooms? Maybe have Raulf's(?) house and garden, the Kanker sister's mobile home or can the side rooms be cul-de-sac shaped. Oh, how about a title screen.

Wish i could try it. But i can't, I'm in Scotland on vacation, but it sounds like a good game. I loved that show as a kid, and occasionally, if it's on, watch it for memory sakes.

i was at hunnington beach all weekend picking up girls... XD but now I have more time to 'work' on other things like this... i added obstacles to it too just before I left. will likely post later.
