Arcade Auctions in NJ?

Recommended Posts

I love those bartop games made by Merit Industries.. I had one awhile ago, but eventually sold it.

I've got the itch to get another one. I might probably get one from this guy Dave. He's a reputable seller who gives you a lifetime warranty on hard drive (if unit has one) and power supply. He really seems to do a good job refurbishing them.

The one I am looking at might run me about $1300.

But I might consider one from an auction, although I can't find any in NJ. One company used to do them in Cherry Hill, but I don't see them here anymore.

Anyone know of any?

US Amusements does the auctions in Cherry Hill and I think they had one a few months ago. There is an e-mail address on thier site for the NJ and PA auctions, you might want to try contacting them and see if they plan to do anymore.

I just sent Rob an email asking about it. The last time I emailed him, he got back to me right away. Unfortunately, the last time the auction was in Cherry Hill, I was out of town. I'm definitely planning to hit the next one, though. Hope it's soon!

Anyway, I'll post back here again when I hear back from Rob.

I met the guy from Basement Arcade at Cherry Hill once. Very nice guy. He takes pics and catalogs the prices of what all the games sold for on his website.

If you're looking for a megatouch based on the force hardware, than it's not going to get much cheaper than that,

especially for a refurbished unit since new software upgrades are still being released for it.

If you're looking for a megatouch in the XL or MAXX hardware range, than you can get one much cheaper than that.
