gamedude #1 Posted July 28, 2009 Is it possible to use an Xbox cheat code on a 360?
Lord Helmet #2 Posted July 28, 2009 Like a gameshark or something like that? I've never seen anything like that on the 360. I would imagine that you wouldn't be able to play online with a cheat enabled anyway. Wouldn't be fair to the other players.

moycon #4 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) Is it possible to use an Xbox cheat code on a 360? Clarify what you mean. Do you mean you found original Xbox codes for original Xbox games and you are using an Xbox 360 (via emulation) to play these games and want to know if the codes work, or do you mean you found Xbox 360 codes for Xbox 360 games and you want to know if it's possible to use them on an Xbox 360 game? I can answer the second scenario. Yes. If the code is valid. Edited July 29, 2009 by moycon
+FujiSkunk #5 Posted July 29, 2009 If the code was built into the game to begin with, then yes, the codes most likely work on the 360. If the code involves an extra program or piece of hardware like a Game Shark, then it may or may not work on the 360, depending on how compatible the crutch is. Yes I found orginial Xbox codes, but since the two controlers are layed out differently I need to know how the buttons from the orginal translate to the 360 controler gamedude
Lord Helmet #7 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) Ah! Now is makes sense. The RT and LT buttons correspond to the black and white buttons on the original Xbox pad. RT = Black LT = White Edited July 29, 2009 by Lord Helmet
Video #8 Posted July 29, 2009 Yeah, a button code would work, just remember that the B/W buttons were moved up and are now the Bumper buttons on the 360...
