yuppicide #1 Posted July 29, 2009 I didn't know where to post this, but it's arcade related kind of. Someone should make an "Arcade Tycoon" game for PC. That would be freakin sweet. It would contains models of just about every game out there. You'd be able to design the layout of your arcade, choose from different stuff to put in like a wall of tv's, jukebox, of course the games, coin machines, glow in the dark carpets, and wallpapers, etc. You would be able to set prices for games, dip switches, etc. You'd could either study and learn to repair the machines yourself, or hire someone in the meantime. You could choose from different types of coin machines or go tokens. You could buy redemption games with tickets and offer prizes behind the counter and set prices. Yeah yeah I know.. You could put stuff in like rides, motion simulators, a rope playground with ball crawl, laser tag, bumper cars, roller rink, etc. You'd be able to add your own mp3's into one folder and during the game can have it play. You could put in a concession stand and decide what to sell and set prices, amount of salt in the pretzels, and amount of water in the soda, etc. You could get different locations such as a Mall (more costly rent) or strip mall, etc. You can even franchise or branch out, hire and fire people, etc.
Kurt_Woloch #2 Posted July 29, 2009 Hmmm... maybe you could ask Rob Fulop about this. I think he has got some experience in creating that type of game... :-)
