Albert #2 Posted August 1, 2009 Sorry to hear about your iPod Touch, hope you're able to replace it quickly. $70 seems like a great deal for a Vectrex USB flash cart. ..Al
Richard H. #3 Posted August 1, 2009 Sorry to hear about your iPod Touch It's the most useful thing I've owned since my Newton 2100. My own fault, I was using it without a protective cover and it flew out of my hands like a wet bar of soap. Down a flight of concrete stairs bouncing on every step like a slinky

Richard H. #11 Posted August 2, 2009 Do these come in a fancy box like the Flashboy? Fraid not, never been hot on boxes to be honest. BTW Chris makes the nice FlashBoy one, it was a lot of work.

+selgus #16 Posted August 2, 2009 How does the USB thing work, just on your computer or what? You connect to the cartridge with your PC. You can setup the flash cartridge with the software on Richard's website. --Selgus

the.golden.ax #19 Posted August 2, 2009 No... I meant the Vox USB thing... not the flash cart. I know how to use those AX
Carey85 #20 Posted August 3, 2009 I bought my VecFlash cartridge a year or so ago and I couldn't be more happy with it. It saved me from the hassle of going after a Vectrex cart set when all I really wanted was to play the games
Richard H. #21 Posted August 3, 2009 I just want to hear the games when playing the system. I'm guessing this isn't going to do that? You can use it - 1) Create speech using PhraseALator 2) With Stella, so you can hear speech games in emulation 3) Read / write the AVox EEPROM / SaveKey data (coming soon) 4) Rewrite it's firmware (thruogh the USB) and use it to do similar stuff with the VecVox. the.golden.ax #22 Posted August 3, 2009 I'm not trying to be stupid or ignorant... but then I am correct by what you posted, in assuming the VoxUSB thing will not plug into my VecterX and give me voice on those games that have it? I'd like to finish my order up and get my flash thing on the way, but I'm trying to figure out if I should add on the VoxUSB thing... I think what I'm after is a VecVox and that has to be ordered elsewhere? AX

I think I am. We both need a VecVox!

Richard H. #25 Posted August 4, 2009 You want the AtariVox II, the one that Glenn's building. It has VecVox (and VecVoice) modes, so you can run all existing, and any new speech Vec games.
