I was actually thinking about purchasing the RetroGen at my local independent shop, but after reading about the compatibility and hardware issues, I think I'll have to pass. Bummer. I am not sure if the RetroGen has the same issues with the cart slot or not. We stopped carrying them because they were selling so poorly, but never got a return on one. The problem with the RetroGen is the d-pad is terrible. Yes I know the GenMobile's isn't the best, but the RetroGen's is much worse IMO. Emulation/compatibility issues may be tolerable, particularly if I'm only playing it at work with the sound down, but a faulty control pad simply ruins it.
