Inky #1 Posted October 9, 2002 What's the deal with Peek-A Boo? What's the deal with Peek-a-boo. Do you actually DO anything, or is it something to keep tots entertained?
Tempest #2 Posted October 9, 2002 Pretty much. You can "do" somethings with it, but it's not very playable. It may not even be complete! I have a page on it: http://www.atariprotos.com Tempest
Thomas Jentzsch #3 Posted October 9, 2002 Pretty much. You can "do" somethings with it, but it's not very playable. I can only add, that the code uses the keypad controller. Maybe that helps.
slapdash #4 Posted October 9, 2002 What's the deal with Peek-a-boo. Do you actually DO anything, or is it something to keep tots entertained? Um, have you ever played the "real" Peek-A-Boo "game"? It's not very complex... So you surely wouldn't expect THIS to be complex? :-) Yeah, it was meant for very young children (don't remember the exact ages, but...), so I'm sure it was intended more as a time-waster than a real game. Tempest #5 Posted October 9, 2002 As far as I can tell you just press the button to get the cat to come out from behind the boxes (Peek A Boo!). There may be more to it than that, as some of the variations do slightly different things, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out. Tempest
StanJr #6 Posted October 9, 2002 Shame on you Inky, you've got like 6 kids and you don't know what "PEEK-A-BOO" is all about? Sheesh! I fear for your children when it comes time for "duck-duck-goose!"
Inky #7 Posted October 10, 2002 Sheesh! I fear for your children when it comes time for "duck-duck-goose!" That game is why the Mrs. and I have 3 kids... The thing that gets me is that IF Atari had relesed peek-a-boo, it would have gone for $29.99 or there abouts. Fun fun fun!
