S1500 #1 Posted August 5, 2009 It's time for a new thread for me to complain & whine about video gaming podcasts: 72 pin connector, a podcast I initially dismissed due to the hollow audio quality + surprise screaming, but I gave it another chance. They do an episode about Atari: As for other podcasts, not too much to say. Retrogaming Roundup - still going(ehh), Retrogamer Magazine - has a podcast that has changed. They aren't doing noisy interviews with developers that go on forever. It's now a formal roundtable discussion podcast. It's okay. Lunchpail Platoon - Doesn't get the listener involved Retronauts - ??? There's more fluctuation. Still very heavy on the Japanese RPGs.
BydoEmpire #2 Posted August 6, 2009 I've been digging Retrogaming Roundup, although there are definitely parts of it I skip. Their top 10s are entertaining, "It Came From MAME" is really cool recurring segment that gives some attention to lesser-known arcade titles, and the July episode's interview w/ the Funspot guys was great. Never listened to 72 Pin connector before, I'll have to give it a shot.
