+Larry #1 Posted August 6, 2009 Since I need to get a couple of Micro-SD cards for my cell phone, I thought I should be able to use the (regular) Micro-SD card with the SD adapter in the SDrive? Is anyone using this type setup? -Larry
spookt #2 Posted August 6, 2009 Nope but I can try if you like. I have a couple of microSD cards and the SD adapters lying around. I'll give it a whirl later and let you know.

+Larry #6 Posted August 6, 2009 Thanks, guys- I also just found it listed under the "Tested and working flash cards." I had looked in the docs, but overlooked that section. Thanks again! -Larry yes I am using a kingston 2gig micro sd card in an adapter, has worked flawlessly for the last 2 months Beat me to it I just tried with exactly the same kingston card and it works for me too. a8isa1 #8 Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) Since I need to get a couple of Micro-SD cards for my cell phone, I thought I should be able to use the (regular) Micro-SD card with the SD adapter in the SDrive? Is anyone using this type setup? -Larry I tried but failed. This wasn't due to the media (Kingston 2GB SD) but rather my feeble soldering skills. For $7 on ebay I picked up a Kingston 2GB transflash card (aka microSD), a miniSD to microSD adapter, and an SD to microSD adapter. I had planned to use the miniSD to microSD adapter as the socket for my homebrew SDrive but on the 5th of 7 solder joints I applied too much heat and warped the adapter into a useless mess. My stripped down SDrive (I often use other names), i.e. no buttons, switches, or LEDs, made from new and scrap parts works but finding a place on the 600XL to mount it and the old floppy connector (my stolen idea for an SD card socket) is a challenge I haven't figured out. - Steve Sheppard Edited September 14, 2009 by a8isa1
