Just acquired a *still sealed* 7800.

 

I've never had a box for the 7800 before...

I almost wanted to open it just to make sure what should be in there is actually what's there. But I'll have to assume it is.

Nice score! I wouldn't open it. Keep it sealed and get an already opened one for playing. If you're like me, pass it on to a collector cause I have no use for sealed anything, I like to play with my toys.

Since it's not your fist one I'd say leave it sealed, but sell/gift it to someone who doesn't have a 7800 and will really appreciate it, so they can open it. Then, try to be there when they do open it, so you can see the rays of light shine out of the box. Mmm, new electronics smell, classic style.

Ya they listed that one quite poorly, "Atari 7800 with 5 games" I was gonna bid on that one but passed cause I was sure it wasn't gonna go un-noticed. Nice score for sure Bob and a really good price too!!
