STICH666 #1 Posted August 12, 2009 I had a dream that I was at my cousin's house and there was a room in the attic everyone somehow forgot about. When we opened it, it was a nice entertainment room with a pool table and a nice but old TV. Well when I went into the closet near the pool table I found a bunch of games and consoles. Buried in the back was a freaking Net Yaroze PS1. Well of course at this point I woke up without the Net Yaroze and I feel a little depressed.
MagitekAngel #2 Posted August 12, 2009 It sounds a bit odd for me to say so, but every once in a while I have a dream about some kind of game or machine that doesn't actually exist. Like a Gameboy Advance with 6 buttons arranged in optimum Street Fighter configuration. Or a full-fledged game of the Zelda demo from Spaceworld 2000. Things like that. It's a little eerie. Chickybaby #3 Posted August 12, 2009 I'm sorry I have a very difficult time understandding why someone would be upset about a PS1. I'll have to look up which one you're talking about because I have no idea what kind that even is. Now if it was rare Atari or something Dreamcast I could maybe feel a little sympathy. It's a dream they happen. If you want one of those things it's something to save up for. Nah regards to creating video game stuff, those dreams aren't weird I don't think. Many people dream up mods and hacks of stuff then they are inspired to do them. I've had dreams where I have a huge arcade of Pins and Classics myself although I don't usually have video game dreams. It's like a debug unit but it's black and was sold to the public at around $800. They are in turn a hell of a lot more rare.
Sgt.Pepper1983 #5 Posted August 13, 2009 I had a dream about having my Donkey Kong game and watch one or two nights before it showed up. Waking up to the reality that it hadn't shown up yet really sucked.
BDW #6 Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) This happened 3 times in the long week it took my virtual boy to reach my house. The disapointment (spelled right?)worsened every time I woke up. Edited August 13, 2009 by brandondwright

OldSchoolRetroGamer #8 Posted August 13, 2009 LOL! Reminds me as a kid, I had a "Fonzie" (IE: The FONZ from HAPPY DAYS) storage trunk in which I keep loose toys etc. At the time though I was REALLY into comics but didn't have much $$$$$. Anyway, I dreamed I woke up in the middle of the night once and for some reason had the urge to open my Fonzie trunk and it was packed to the top with nothing but comic books, of course I even thought "yeah right! to good to be true" so I went back to sleep, a while later I got up again to go to the bathroom and just before crawling back to bad I chuckled to myself and opened my trunk again but to my surprise and amazement it was still full of comics, I could not believe it, I felt almost as if I "willed" the comics into existence because I was sure I was not dreaming, it seemed so real. OF COURSE I was dreaming because I closed the trunk, went back to bed happy and woke up in the morning realizing it was all a dream, but it seemed so real of course I had to open the trunk one more time lol! That occurred over 30 years ago and to this day I still remember every detail and how real it all seemed even though common sense and logic told me it was not possible............. yuppicide #9 Posted August 13, 2009 I had a dream of some prototype game. I remember people said the game was far from complete and when you scrolled to the right it you couldn't move very far. I figured out you scrolled to the left in the game and the game was pretty complete.
iswitt #10 Posted August 13, 2009 I can honestly say I have never had a dream about video game systems/games being in my possession. However, I once was attempting to get a pretty big POG collection going (play for keeps, anyone?). So I did dream about waking up with a room full of pogs once, ha. That was like 13 years ago or something.
lushgirl_80 #11 Posted August 13, 2009 I always have these recurring dreams about finding cartridges in the weirdest places. Like I'd dream I'm at the supermarket and some brand new NES games would be in the frozen fish section or something. A recent dream I went to Toy R Us and they had used retro games there and I ended up buying a Game Gear for 5 bucks. Funny dream cos I was never really into Game Gear lol.
