Nah, they'd just play like they are too dumb to find it. It would be a convincing act, too, even if they didn't try very hard at it. I went in there looking for Star Trek Nemesis on a UMD and at first I thought they were gonna go off wondering what a UMD movie even is.

 

I, too, would have taken the games in to show them.

 

lol, you could really screw them up if you wanted. I've done this before, too. If you have a Game Stop that sells DVDs and Blu Ray discs also, go in there and ask for "Playstation 2" movies or "Playstation 3 movies". When I did that, I got a blank stare.

I managed to get the retail copy at a GameStop in Ames, and they even held it for me for 24 hours, so I honestly have to say forget anything I said in page one about not wanting to buy it from a GS.

Wow, first problem, "I went to gamestop" Ok....stop right there. Since when are they experts? I mean, it's not like they aren't notorious for hiring the most gaming illiterate dumb shit bastards on the planet. And second, why not just shrug and go on? Despite being pretty stupid in regards to gaming, most can be friendly....IF you let them, instead of trying to prove your dick is bigger or whatever problem is up your ass.

 

That being said, that was pretty funny....

Not knowing anything about games is perfectly acceptable. I didn't challenge his authority first. All I simply said was that I had it for my DC. He's the one who suddenly got holier-than-thou and started raising his voice.

 

Hire people who don't want to game. Fine. But don't hire assholes.

 

 

 

Lastly, dissing me (and quite rudely I might add) and then saying my story was funny makes no sense at all, and you came off as a jerk.

Dissing you? sorry if it came off like that...but...

 

It's "funny" because you clearly came in here wanting people to pet your ego, rather than as I said, just walked on and not continued feeding the fire (and yes, that was your fault)

 

I'm not sure which I should be more concerned about, that you did that, or that people are all "poor baby" about it. (admitedly, most did say "It's gamestop, whaddya expect")

 

I guess honestly, the whole "I hate gamestop, here's yet another shitty story about them" crap is just getting old.
