rjchamp3 #26 Posted August 26, 2009 Let me ask you this, which one should I buy I would also like to ask if the handheld is fully compatible and which one to buy. Thanks There is no clone that is 100% compatible. The most compatible NES clone (portable or regular) out right now is the FC Mobile 2. The FC Mobile 2 can be used as a regular console as well, however the wireless controllers and gun that come with it aren't that great and there are no plugs for controllers on the system. I do think Hyperkin has intentions someday taking the FC Mobile 2 NOAC and making it a regular system. However, that might be awhile off. Innex does make a knockoff of the FC Mobile 2 called the RetroMini-X. I would personally not suggest buying this. Mainly because I hate it when companies don't design something for themselves. Ok thank you
figgler #27 Posted September 18, 2009 Does the FC Mobile 2 have a headphone jack? And how is the sound? For a portable system I think the headphone thing is pretty important
Kenny_McCormic #28 Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) I would rebuild a front loader a thousand times before thinking about a POS NOAC(unless I was building a portable or in the market for one). Edited September 18, 2009 by Kenny_McCormic
STICH666 #29 Posted September 18, 2009 Just get an NES. You will save a lot of time and trouble.
figgler #30 Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) Just get an NES. You will save a lot of time and trouble. Of course, but my particular issue is that NESs are not portable. If the FC Mobile 2 has a haedphone jack and decent sound, I am more than likely in. Where's Stoneagegamer? He's got a sweet deal with a FCM2 and the Genesis clone I'm eyeing.. Yes, the FC Mobile 2 does have a headphone jack. I didn't spend much time with headphones, other than trying it out to see if it worked - but it seemed decent enough. Kenny_McCormic #32 Posted September 19, 2009 If you really wanted, the FC mobile II controllers could be gutted and the guts installed in real NES controllers.
figgler #33 Posted September 21, 2009 Any reports of FC Mobile 2 not being compatible with bunnyboy's Power Pak?

chriswhit #36 Posted September 24, 2009 I have a retro duo and 195 nes games 4 of which i cant play on it due to no light gun. I only have 21 snes games all work in it including Star Fox which I noticed not many clone systems will do. You can plug in stock snes controllers. Do not know if the super scope will work in it though. Ordering one to find out. If not I'll be in the market for a snes system. I want one anyways.
