ODST collector pack comes with special controller

Recommended Posts

Just saw this on Gamestop's website. The collector's pack comes with a special edition 360 controller.

Pretty cool looking. Don't know if I would get one though as I already have 4 controllers, but it is tempting.

Also if you reserve Halo 3: ODST you get a code that allows you to play as Sgt. Johnson in the new co-op mode.

Not a bad offer. I got Halo'd out in my first and second years because that's all my roommates ever did. Well, either that or NHL and FIFA :|

Since I have had enough Halo 3 for a lifetime, I think I'll wait and see what this Halo: Reach business is all about.

Sure, but I bet it makes this particular edition pretty pricy. They already upped the price from $29.99 to $59.99, which they justified by all the crap they threw in.

What you get:

- The game (which is said to have a shorter campaign than Halo 3)

- All of the DLC maps that came out before (So if you own Halo 3 and bought the DLC, you're buying it again)

- a Beta for Halo: Reach

- Firefight multi player mode

This was supposed to be an expansion title of sorts to explain the story from an ODST's eyes, but now it's expansion title of sorts with a heftier price tag.

Yea the collector's edition w/ the controller is $100. I think the game itself will be worth the regular price though. I'm looking forward to the side storyline and all the co-op aspects.

I'm a sucker for stuff like this, that is special editions. I have to say I've actually considered getting this and I have no clue why. I have like 9 controllers (No wait, I wore one out and gave it to a friend) I have 8 controllers. Red ones, Black ones, White ones. Wireless, wired. Why in the world would I need another one?!

These are the things I tell myself when considering the pre-order.

(Then I order it anyways!)

Don't know if I care about the controller (they're probably wireless, why no wired se's? (I guess I'm the only one that doesn't care to run though batteries that fast  ) ) But Sargent Johnson is AWESOME!! He was my favorite characture on the various games, to bad he blew up on the last one
