Like the title says, I see that DealExtreme (not me!) has Atari Flashbacks (the original 7800 style) available for $34.95. That sounds kind of pricey to me, but shipping is free, so maybe it's not too bad of a deal.

I saw that this morning and first thought it was something new! Then I realized it's just more of the original FB. Oh well!

 

My first dealings with DealExtreme made me a big fan, but lately I see why people complain so much. "Typically ships in 2-5 days" means "we need to get this from an outside supplier and we don't really have ANY clue how long it will take to get it." "In Stock" means "we think it might be in stock but our system can be quite optimistic." "Backordered, ETA (some date)" means "we just made up that date, abandon all hope of ever getting this item." And once they do have the item in hand, their packing and shipping times have exploded lately.

 

Good on them if they're taking in that much business but they need to get it under control. I see a lot of US resellers on eBay sell a lot of parts at or near DX's prices, without the 2-4 week wait (except for flash cards and other questionable items, of course).

I'd suggest that unless you have to have a brand new one, Flashbacks seem to be very plentiful at flea markets and yard sales for far less than $35!

FB and FB2 can be found on Craigslist very cheap...

That is my source if I need another one
