DaytonaUSA #1 Posted August 20, 2009 I never had much interest in MAME until I heard that it is now powerful enough to emulate some of my favorite arcade games (early 3D ones) from my childhood. I was wondering how I should go about playing these games I want to play: Daytona USA WaveRunner The Lost World Virtua Fighter Indy 500 A device that has caught my eye is the Open Pandora. I've seen it play MAME games, but I am not quite sure if it can handle the ones above. If so/if not, how should I go about doing this, and what do I really need to play these original arcade titles (not ports). Thanks for the help. I know I'm late to the party, but better late than never.
Rybags #2 Posted August 20, 2009 Nebula Model 2 Emulator will play Daytona and other Sega Model 2 games that Mame doesn't support. There might be others... I got "excited" about finally getting it going on PC a couple of years ago, but really it's an empty feeling once you realise it's a primitive game compared even to most PS1 driving games.

Have you seen my screen name? Haha Trust me.. I'd be more than happy to play those games like Daytona USA than any PSone racing game . Do you know how I go about with this Model 2 emulator? Oh also, Sega Rally would be another gem I'd love to play the original of. Thanks for your help in advance, I really appreciate it .
