Black Belt

One of the first titles on the Sega Master System was Black Belt by Sega.

But suddenly the game dissappeared from the stores in Germany.

The name of the game was covered by a black tape on the Master System

catalogs at this time.

Was there a lawsuit between Atari and Sega, because of the Atari 5200 title?

Beats me..

I wonder if someone knows what that game looks like for the 5200 since I can't even find a screen shot. I think it's wierd that Atari would start a lawsuit against Sega knowing the 5200 was dead when Sega made releases for the Master System. :)

I have a dip switch multicart (its not too old either) and I dont have Black Belt. Is this game new to the menu driven multicart?

Will or can black belt be sold through atariage.com like Asteroids is??

Charlie

Yes, It's on the menu driven Multicart. I believe it was on the first of the menu driven multicarts as well. Of course I have nothing to do with the making of 5200 carts by Atari Age but I can tell you you will be disapointed if you spend even $20 bucks on a Black Belt cart. Yea it looks cool but you can't do anything in the game but go from room to room. You can kick and I think punch but it has no effect on anything. Plus you move real slow for some reason. It's more like a demo than a game. It had a lot more work to be done to it.
