Rastignac #76 Posted April 10, 2015 I heard the theme from California Games for the first time yesterday. It was the first time I'd heard anyone do something so complex in a 2600 game.I don't understand the big difference between PAL and NTSC version of this music. Why the programmers did that? (I prefer PAL music).
mikey.shake #77 Posted April 10, 2015 Suprised nobody has mentioned Double Dragon which has excellent renditions of all the arcade games tunes. Definately my favourite 2600 music *CTRL+F "double dragon", so I don't have to be "that guy" who's always harping on and on about #!*^ing Double Dragon* It has some great music. Especially when you get through more and more of the game. Lots of impressive music, even if the loops are repetitive. There are loads of games I haven't played, but DD probably has one of the best 2600 soundtracks I've found so far. (I'm sure a bunch of games on this list are probably equally awesome.)
