RJ #2 Posted August 31, 2009 Since when does "eat a dick" = "sorry for the technical difficulties"?
S1500 #3 Posted August 31, 2009 Since when does "eat a dick" = "sorry for the technical difficulties"? Heh. This episode wasn't as bad. Of course, totally skip the British hour(childish & not video game related) . I enjoyed the (rather lengthly ramp-up) nod to Midnight Madness, and even emailed some corrective bits. But yeah, the drop-outs in that section were annoying to hear. Not as bad as the obscene phone caller that lasted 2 episodes with Jerri.
RJ #4 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Yeah, maybe they're finally figuring out their formula...he brought back Swap Talk & even addressed some points about it that I'd previously brought up here (his lowballing the already low prices, etc). I ALWAYS skip the British hour, & most of what the Brit has to say. AND, the mouth-breather's levels were bad again toward the end. Y'know, I see it takes a lot of work & dedication to do a podcast, & it's free, but "free" doesnt mean anything when quality suffers. Do you really want listeners/subscribers skipping entire chunks of the show due to poor quality? Other less-professional podcasts (those whose shows seem done "on the side" & are MUCH shorter) I listen to dont seem to have the problems RRR does. S1500, let us know if you get a legitimate response back from them, rather than a general "F you" like they gave on the show. Thought we had it worked out this month, however, we don't know until it's been recorded and played back. We are working on it The reason we put the time stamps is so you can bypass some of the show if you want. We have many, including myself, that enjoy the British side of the show. And we do listen to all of you and make changes as needed. So keep the suggestions coming. And rest assured, we are working on making all episodes from here on out free of these tech difficulties. S1500 #6 Posted September 1, 2009 I didn't get any response from my email to them. I sent it to them in a non-negative tone, highlighting some clarifications and such about Midnight Madness. I normally butcher these video game related podcasts, but this RGR wasn't so bad. What confused me was there's a pinball-themed podcast. That's normally fine, but how do they have 64 2-hour episodes of them?
