Dan Iacovelli #1 Posted August 27, 2009 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact Person: Dan Iacovelli Organization: AVC Online Email Address: [email protected] Web site Address: http://avc.atari-users.net/ AVC Online announces the return of two Atari Jaguar Festival items for the AVC newsstand at Cafepress.com Westchester, Illinois – (3:37 PM 8/27/2009) – At the 2003 Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee, WI, AVC Online showed the cover of the final Jagfest issue and being sold at the show the next year. Three years later, at the same show AVC Online introduced the Jagfest “Tour” shirt in the same style as the concert tour shirts that lists Jaguar festival dates from 1997 to 2007. Recently, AVC Online had held a cover design contests for Jagfest issues #1 to 6 and has announced the reworking of what was the final fest issue which now known as the tenth anniversary issue for the Atari Jaguar Festival. This new book like it’s predecessor will have the reports from past shows, but it won’t stop at 2003 as it did in the final issue, it continue to 2007 plus it have a Jaguar rarity guide courtesy of Jason Smith of Jaguar Sector-II (http://jaguarsector.com) as well as a “look back section” that will reflect on the progress on the show changed over the past ten years from people who attended it. This new book will only be available via The AVC News Stand in the Jagfest Section at cafepress.com ( http://www.cafepress.com/avcnews/1338959 ) Also to commemorate the release of the new book AVC Online will also be bringing back the Jagfest “Tour” Shirt with new front design to match the covers of the Jagfest issues. You can either buy the book and shirt together at a low package price or by them selves also at a low cost (TBD) The release date for these products is slated for some time in September (TBA at later date). Currently I am looking for the following things to help finish the book: 1) any pictures from the overseas shows (2000 to 2007) 2) reports and pictures from any show from 2004 to 2007 3) reflections on how the show changed since it’s inception in 1997 (Also if you want to include an ad in the book, please e-mail me first so I can give you some details) I will not be taking pre-orders for the book, but I will be having waiting list set up. Those who are on the list will receive a ten dollar E-certificate from cafepress.com that will be used toward the purchase of the book when it is done. To sign up for the list: E-mail me at [email protected] :Subject: Jagfest waiting list, once I receive your e-mail I will contact you back and let you know I have you on the list, when the book is done I will then send you the e-certificate so you can get the book. Dan Iacovelli #7 Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) Just got started on the rarity guide section with air cars: this is the basics of how the page looks with a review: Screen shot of the game guide listings for the game Review (if I don't have a review or screen shot the guide listings will just be there,so if you want review to be included in the book that I don't have(I would keep you updated here and on JS-II if I don't have a review and or a screen shot) let me know) I already have a review of air cars from wes powell that was used in Jagfest issue along with screen shot. (if you have a better review for let me know I would replace it) Also I'm doing the software section in two sections instead of together one section is for cartridges one for CD's. Quick update: The tour shirt goes on sale in Dec (book has been pushed back due to the fact theres too much to add to it(a late Dec is best I can figure) if you're on the waiting list you already got my e-mail about getting the first crack at the tour shirts or waiting for the book so you can get both together(you will still get e-cert for the book even if you went for the tour shirt before the book) with that said, the waiting list will still be open but it will only be the book since the tour shirt will be available before the book.(when book is released the waiting list will then be closed)

Dan Iacovelli #10 Posted December 5, 2009 the tour shirt is now up in the shop in the jagfest section (sorry for the lateness, net was bouncy all morning and I finally got the shop set up) Progress on the book is going nicely, I had some time yesterday when the net was totally down to add some E-fest pics (2000 and 2003) added dan loosen's look back article (4 pages) and going to start work on my own look back article today. (I'm also going to work on rarity guide section as well today, if anybody has a review arena football and like it to be added to book let me know(screen shot as well be nice too) those wondering about the page count so far Jagfest section(main part): 143 Rarity guide section: 6 look back section 4 when it finished (look at end of dec now) I would expect close to 200 pages (I still have add jagfest connection to book but right now I only working on what Ihave then the newer jagfest stuff which was prob left out of the first final jagfest issue will get added)

Dan Iacovelli #24 Posted March 6, 2014 with demise of jag sector II, the 10th anniversary book will be put on hiatus since I don't have the price guide from JS-II. some good news, work is being done on moving jagfest issues to mag cloud if all goes well you can look for them before MGC (and with luck have it on display at jagfest section) if some issues fall short of the limit on pages I'll add a few jaguar retro ads into it.(instead of having blank pages at the end)
Dan Iacovelli #25 Posted August 22, 2014 happen to find the price guide on wayback, copied the information and saved it,so the price guide will continue for the anniversary issue plus I can do second version of the jagfest isuues with guide inserts instead of jag ads
