WTD: Broken Wiimotes, Xbox and PS2/3 controllers

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am going to be teaching a technical drawing class this fall and would like to have some manipulatives for students to measure and draw. I don't have much to spend, mostly willing to pay shipping and your costs for supplies. If you have some broken (non working, hopefully they still have most/all of the knobs, buttons, etc) controllers for current gen systems/recent past gen systems, I would be MOST appreciative to get them from you!

PM me if you have one or a few. I need about 8 total, not picky. Heck, if you have a bricked PSP, that would rock too! My middle school class will be doing these as extra credit. Pretty neat project I think!

Thanks in advance,

Cassidy

It would be even better if you had the real technical drawings to compare against. How about getting them to design an iPod case from scratch and then comparing it against the template supplied by apple? I'm sure I once saw an iPod cradle/docking station drawing. It was a while ago though.

Now, anybody got some dead controllers? Nobody?

I have a Wii controller that is a little squirrely at sensing some directional movement. PM me an address, and it's yours.

$9.85 for a flat rate box of broken controllers. (goes for anyone wanting it) I could fill lots of boxes like this. :D

AX

Got a DAP (SCPH-1180) in there, Ax? Looks like a giant Dual Shock pad without the rubber tops on the sticks. I fixed one, I sure can fix another.
