Boston area "game night" get together?

OK so tremoloman2006 and I have sorta been kicking around the idea of an Atari night that one of us hosts.

 

I volunteer my place in Waltham for the first one

 

Thinking first weekend of Oct.

 

Just show up, bring beers or whatever if yr old enough, if not, no big deal, yr not excluded.

 

We can order up some take out and kick around the old 2600, 5200 or 7800

 

I've also got a working (still, I hope) Vectrex and a dusty old Odyssey 2 and Coleco that have been dormant for years

 

Maybe make it some sorta "olympics" where we pick 4 or 5 games and assign scores to the winners to crown a "champion" at the end of the night

 

We figure if it goes well, we can rotate who hosts, maybe make it monthly or bi-monthly thing depending on real life and responsibilities. (%$#@! both of those things)

 

I know it's weird meeting peeps on the internet but I don't think I'm that much of a weirdo. At least not in the "bad" way

 

I shower and talk to women. :D
