Not real familiar with high-tech or kinda new audio visual stuff. It actually works very odd. The cable has a chip in it that converts the gamecubes digital signal into component. You can't make one. A cheap solution is to purchase a japanese d connector. It's like a little HDMI-ish jack, but instead of hdmi, it's component. You can just lop off the end, look up the pinout, and wire it to RCA jacks. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The early GameCubes have a digital AV out and an analog AV out on the back. The digital AV out cable is the one that's hard to find.
