Fairchild Democart

I got an item I won off eBay recently and found that my #13 cart had extra-thick labels. The end label popped off and then the #13 label popped off the democart label. This was a Zircon release as it had a big Zircon sticker on the back. Anyway I was able to peel off the #13 labels and was left with this.

 

 

Of course, the PCB is #13, but I took it out. So now I have an empty Democart case.

 

I wonder how many cases like this were covered up by Zircon when they took over.

I had something similar happen with my Videobrain. I had a Timeshare case that was really a relabeled Demo Cart case. I guess this was pretty common with small companies.
