I tried to find a clip of the Croc Hunter episode where he is in the desert and find cougar poop and puts it in his pocket for "later" I swear the geode looks exactly like that cougar poo.

Got my copy. Enjoying the petrified cat turd almost as much as the rattle snake eggs from last years order.

 

(Hey, wasn't some sort of "how to open the cat poop" instruction sheet supposed to be included? )

I was going to include a "How To Open A Geode" sheet but being sent out of state screwed everything up.

 

TO OPEN A GEODE-

 

Wrap Geode in a washcloth or a couple of paper towels.

Place wrapped Geode on a hard surface. (Concrete or Asphalt)

Strike wrapped Geode with a hammer. Don't pulverize it.

Once Geode breaks the crystals will be visible.

 

Your skill or luck with opening your Geode will determine how nice the final result will be.

I'm not sure it is advisable, but a vise and a dremel seem like they may give that professional look. It's a little poop though, so I'm not sure if I want to try that. With big ones you can cut one side, then another... Neo your method reminds me of this:

I can't even play it until after Christmas. I just got my X-RGB2+ and on or near the 25th I'll be rocking some awesome classics on the projector.
