It's guitar hero.

 

I like it. Some really fun songs to play like Muse and the Blink 182 (song #2) is a blast to play.

 

Sympathy for the Devil, while a great song is not the best guitar song for guitar hero.

I really wish i had these when I was younger or in college. I am a bit too old to have a bunch of friends over for a GH party and my son is a bit too young to play right now. So I play alone 95% of the time.

 

The game didn't bring much new to the table although it is really fun playing with my avatar.

Hell, we just got the first Rock Band. If this oversaturation keeps up we may be looking at the Great Music Video Game Crash of 2013.

I wasn't aware that GH5 was out. I'm still planning on buying the Smash Hits disc for GHWT, which I havent' gotten arount to doing yet. Lots o' great tunes on the Smash Hits disc but I refuste to pay $59.99 for it.

yep I got it and like an idiot totally blew it on the whole free copy of van halen thing (lost the damn card with the code on it!) so I'll either be renting or buying van halen

Still, It's a solid game on it's own. MUCH better deal at $59.99 than Smash Hits.

I'm playing Guitar Hero 5 and as of yesterday, I'm now playing Guitar Hero Van Halen

 

I also play the other Guitar Hero's and also Rock Band. So far I like the graphics a lot better in GH5 and GH Metallica over previous GH releases. The Rock Band 1 and 2 graphics are more cartoonish, but I do like that I can use my Avatar in the game which is pretty cool.

 

Before someone asks, I do think Rock Band has a way better selection of DLC music at the present time.

 

Ok, now back to playing Guitar Hero Van Halen, roughly 3 months before the rest of the world who didn't get a free advanced copy thanks to my early purchase of GH5.
