calfranklin #1 Posted September 11, 2009 I was just watching the 1983 James Bond movie, "Never Say Never Again" and saw several Atari arcade machines in the casino scene. They clearly had Gravitar and Centipede arcade machines. One shot clearly showed the Atari logo on the start screen. Boy, would I love to own either of those machines today. By the way, has Atari made any other movie appearances?
DaveD #3 Posted September 13, 2009 I know that Bond film well. I seem to recall a number of game sound effects but mostly saw the arcade stocked with Centipede and Gravitar machines and little if anything else.
Kripto #4 Posted September 13, 2009 It was amazing how many Centipede machines they had in that scene. I also got a nice laugh when Kim Basinger appeared to be near playing a Gravitar machine. I do not think she would have enjoyed the harsh and ruthless gameplay.
