Mayhem #2 Posted September 12, 2009 I'm not even sure as many as that were made. If I get a chance I'll take a pic of the one I have later...

dwh #5 Posted September 12, 2009 I think I got a crappy copy of it from Hozer. That copy shown above would be nice to have though!
Lord Thag #6 Posted September 12, 2009 I think I got a crappy copy of it from Hozer. That copy shown above would be nice to have though! Hozer may provide a nice, cheap service, but having bought several carts from CPUWIZ over the years, there's a whole order of magnitude in difference as far as quality is concerned. His stuff looks like the real deal. I suppose I could just buy a blank cart and do the label myself, but I'd rather support the people who really contribute to the community. +save2600 #7 Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) Sorry! What's with these double posts? These new .php sites or whatever, sure are confusing and really, non of them are very intuitive. ALL of them :-( Edited September 12, 2009 by save2600
+save2600 #8 Posted September 12, 2009 Agree about the Hozer stuff vs. The Wiz's. Randy's a good guy though and one of the very first to have supported this whole homebrew scene. Knew him when he lived here in WI and still have my original copies of Edtris & Oystron. ROTFLMAO! Anywho... doesn't or didn't Sean Kelly have these (Meltdown) boxed? I could have sworn I saw a handful of Meltdown's at the Midwest Gaming Classic a year or two ago. Passed on it myself since it looked lame, but bought a boxed/new Looping Coleco proto :-) Sean's another great guy that has been in it since and before the dawning of the homebrew/multi-cart/copy days. -update- I just got through playing a round of Edtris and just noticed something really funny: the label is starting to mottle! lol Yeah, the plain papered B/W label is starting to "mottle" around the edges, just like an Activision cart. <sigh> And I've never even touched the label!! lol Hmm... might just have to get a new label for that game made :-(

Wickeycolumbus #21 Posted September 15, 2009 I found this old post on the subject if anyone is interested. +batari #22 Posted September 16, 2009 I found this old post on the subject if anyone is interested. Looks like there are two different versions. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/82101-pink-panther-prototype/page__view__findpost__p__1595342 There is also an old topic that is only about this Meltdown prototype, and it was locked years ago because a mod who is no longer on AA was apparently tired of people constantly bumping it, asking if there was any more news. Clearly we had significant interest in it, and I'm personally wondering why the topic was not unlocked and updated with the news if it was indeed fixed.
