+remowilliams #26 Posted October 2, 2009 Ok just a quick observation I had from early on in the game. Was that dude who starred in the TV show Firefly a voice actor in this game? Matter of fact, there are three Firefly dudes in ODST! Nathan Fillion [buck / ODST] [Mal / Firefly] Adam Baldwin [Dutch / ODST] [Jayne / Firefly] Alan Tudyk [Mickey / ODST] [Wash / Firefly]
Starscream #27 Posted October 2, 2009 It has been driving me nuts trying to figure out where I've seen and heard Buck before. I don't watch Firefly but I knew he was familiar.
Foxy Cleopatra #28 Posted October 3, 2009 Ok I'm well into the game now (Haven't beaten it yet but close) I'll admit I was afraid this was going to be a rip off. Come on a DLC update to Halo 3 being released as a full priced game? I actually only paid $40 for my copy, but wouldn't have felt ripped off at all if I had paid the full price. I'm already looking forward to playing through this game again with Foxy and Starscream (and anyone that want's to play but Starscream has already asked.) I must have played through Halo 3 a half dozen time (more probably) and I would play through that again right now because it never gets old. This game has that same feel to it. Two years from now I'll say hell yeah I'll play ODST and by then I'll have played through a half dozen times as well. I like the structure of the game. Reliving the past through broken pieces of a world torn apart by invaders who SUCK. Really gets your blood pumping. In Halo 3 I often got lost with no clue where to go next a Huge problem for someone playing meta games where finishing fast equals points. I don't know yet if ODST has meta games, but if it does, and you do get lost. Simply press up on the pad. Very nice for drunk folk. And I haven't even checked out the other stuff yet!!! Multiplayer!!? Foxy cover me, I'm going in!!! The firefight levels on legendary are wicked!!! But I can't see playing Halo any other way, as long as you have at least 2 people. The new maps are great, except the one that just goes in one big circle... what's the point? And they brought back the ship one from Halo 2, can't remember what its called. But I get so frustrated that the best maps, like Avalanche, are only available in Big Team Battle. I love playing a huge map with just a few players, games last much longer and you have to think about what you are doing. Anyway, can't wait to run through it with you, moycon, we need to spend some time finishing Sadie's story and find all the audiophiles.

christianscott27 #32 Posted November 4, 2009 Meh.. I am just not feeling the campaign on this game. I just finished the latest Wolfenstein and its way too similar to that and not in a good way. The whole "City/Hub" thing is crap, like forcing me to play the same meaningless level over and over. I was hoping to see some new enemies and vehicles but so far its the same ol same ol. Its not a horrible game at all but given the high quality of the three previous titles I expected a lot better.
