There's a Tigervision cult? I have three, all of, IMO, acquired at pretty decent prices:

Threshold, $8, in *beautiful* conditionl.

King Kong, $9, missing end label, otherwise in great shape

Miner 2049er, $15 shipped, in beautiful condition as well.

Tigervision has some decent stuff.

I got my Miner 2049er for $15 also, a good deal for that game (mainly because I like it and had both this one and Vol. II when I was a kid).

I only have 2 Tigervision games myself:

Threshold

Miner 2049er

But collecting them does get addictive (anybody know why?) :)

I think Tigervisions are fun to collect. Maybe its the unique cart style, colorful labels, cool boxes, who knows?

I only have four Tigervision games in my collection:

Jawbreaker loose

King Kong loose with instructions

Marauder with box

Polaris with green end label complete with box

I had a second King Kong but a friend of mine collects King Kong stuff so he got it

It may have something to do with the colored carts themselves. Whatever it is, I want them all (not going to happen) :D

I found Miner 2049er II for the 2600 for $1 at an old electronics shop 2 years ago :D

Its not for sale 8)

I think they did a pretty good job with the Miner series for the 2600 considering the limitations of the machine and cart size.

Yeah, not that it was an Atari or anything, but I ditched my handheld Microvision and games at a garage sale when I was a kid, which was dumb, since they're pretty rare nowadays.

I'm still looking to get the Polaris green label and River Patrol.

My first car that I bought for $800 was a 1969 Delta 88!

It will be very nice to collect all of Tigervision's library, but it could be very rough to find to get complete in box. Yeah I agreed with you about Tigervision's color carts are very cool and unquie than any Atari games!

That why I wanted to collect all of Tigervisions, but not easy to find!

First of all, I really enjoy playing most of the tigervision games. That's why I think they are so collectable/fun. I have:

Miner

Miner Volume II

Polaris

Threshold X2

King Kong X2

Marauder

@CpuWiz I have any extra box for miner I. Do you have a spare jawbreaker by chance?

kudos,

MatttG.

Is it just me, or are the mutants in the Miner games almost IMPOSSIBLE to jump over? 'Cause I played the Colecovision version on a friend, and they were easy to jump, but I found these to be almost impossible on the emulator...or did they screw up that part on the emulator? I've heard bad things about emulations, sometimes people don't bother getting things correct...

the mutants in Miner are VERY hard to jump. You have to time it just right, just as they are about to touch you, anything else is unacceptable. It is possible though, just very very tough. Kind of needs to be, otherwise the game would be a bit easy.

You can usually dispose of all but one of them on each level, that should reduce the amount of jumping you will do. (On screen two you can actually kill ALL of the mutants, but you must time it PERFECTLY.)

happy jumping! :)

I've got a PAL Threshold (loose) for trade should anyone need one.

My collection of Tigervision games includes:

Miner 2049er

Springer (w. inst)

Espial

Polaris

Marauder

Threshold (complete)

King Kong

Jawbreaker

Miner vol 2 would be nice to get, but its tough as it wasn't released in PAL in the UK - only on the continent. I think River Patrol is out of my league :)
