poor atari 2600...

do any of you watch "is it a good idea to microwave this?" on you tube. apparenty sometime in the next year they are gonna microwave an ATARI 2600! what do you guys think about that? it should be a horrible crime to microwave a 2600. its rediculous!

Does this crime also fit that punishment?

I used to think. Well that 4 switch did look a little too worn and then they took a sledge hammer to it. Then, I saw a video a litle while later that involved a Heavy Sixer and I could do nothing but look at the screen and say "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Since then I havent watch another video of someone desecrating a poor defenseless Atari.

Heres the thing though, I know a TON of 2600 where made but I keep hearing people telling me that "Oh I threw mine away last year because no one would have bought it" or I see stuff like this, someday the 2600 will be rare because some many people have destroyed them and that its sad to think about.

 

I agree with the comment about the scissors!!!

 

Think about it, how many Heavy Sixers from Sunnyvale were created??? I think that model had the least made . . . someone create me if I am wrong!
