Videogamecollector123 #1 Posted October 4, 2009 Hi, I'm looking to start saving up for an arcade game soon but before I do I just wanted to know which of these machines I'm interested in has the most reliable, the machines are Ms. Pacman, Qix, Q-bert, Robotron 2084, Asteroids, Missile Command, or Centipede/Millipede. I want the upright versions.

Missle command I had a few minor problems which I actually got fixed by joining the AA website and getting great advice by one of the moderators. Centipede has been a nightmare though, 3 boards and a (power supply?) later, and it will work sometimes. So in my opinion Asteroids, Robotron, and ms. Pacman are all pretty safe bets. I will say that I have owned Robotron for the longest (20 years, bought it a few years out of high school) and it has never once let me down. Another machine I have owned for a long time is Ivan Stewarts 'Off road' and it still runs like new.

Alright thanks for the info, now I just need info on Qix, Q-bert(I expect to be a little more high maitnence due to the solenoid inside), and Millipede
Videogamecollector123 #4 Posted October 5, 2009 Also, what would be the hardest part of maintaining a Super Breakout machine? My dad loves that game because he played it alot during college and I think he'd like it if I bought one.
