DaytonaUSA #1 Posted October 4, 2009 http://video.ign.com/dor/articles/927759/sarcastic-gamer/videos/sarcasticeg_prt_ODST_100109.html Pretty much sums up my feelings. Especially the end.. watch the whole thing.
+Random Terrain #2 Posted October 4, 2009 I'd rather watch it this way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59P6mN1JSsE&rel=0&fmt=18&fs=1&iv_load_policy=
Starscream #3 Posted October 4, 2009 That was pretty funny. Ultimately, the game sold over 2 million copies.....in 24 hrs, had midnight launches worldwide, and of course, is the highest played game on Live since it's release. Sony and Nintendo would love to have anything that good. And no matter what the haters may say, the Halo series has always performed well, had solid gameplay, good graphics, good stories, and excellent multiplayer. They may not be the greateset games ever, but they have left a footprint in game history that 99.9% of games will never achieve. No gimmicks needed to make great games. Personally, I think the games are some of the best experiences ever. They are fun wether I play them alone or with other people, they never take themselves to seriously ( NPC characters no matter which side, are always talking some funny shit), vehicle play, either story or multiplayer, has given a dimension to the games that nothing else has even come close to providing, and the stories, while sometimes confusing, are plain kick ass sci fi. I have spent more time playing ODST in the 2 weeks it's been out, than I have playing my PS3 in the 2 years I've owned it. Not bad for such a sucky series of games huh? Video #4 Posted October 4, 2009 Yeah, consider me an ODST Fanboy....just remember, just because someone is a fanboy, doesn't mean that it's not a great game Wonder if some of that video footage is from the defunct Halo movie?
DaytonaUSA #5 Posted October 4, 2009 Wow... you guys are quite defensive. This is just a joke, you know?
Starscream #6 Posted October 5, 2009 Who's getting defensive? The whole 2 of us admitted we're Halo fanboys. I thought the video was funny.
+Random Terrain #7 Posted October 5, 2009 Who's getting defensive? The whole 2 of us admitted we're Halo fanboys. I thought the video was funny. Stop the whining! Why must you keep whining? Please stop the name calling and the tears! Oh, sorry. That wasn't you, it was my dog again. Damn you talking dog! Be quiet! And stop telling me to kill people! JamesD #9 Posted October 5, 2009 I have Halo 3 and to me it just seems like another FPS.
moycon #10 Posted October 5, 2009 Add me to the list of fanboys. Rarely do I have as much fun playing a game then hooking up with pals and playing through a Halo game. Hell even though all we were doing was searching for audio files for an achievements, I still had a blast Starscream, cant wait for a proper play through. I will have to say tho, who you play with is probably important as to how fun the game is going to be.
xg4bx #11 Posted October 5, 2009 well, when you starve an audience for games for a year they had damn well better sell well. nintendo and sony sprinle their games throughout the year and i personally think their fanbases have more diversified tastes. the top selling games on 360 are shooters. the whole popularity=quality is bullshit gamefaqs logic. (try explaining that to jaguar/dreamcast fans). wii sports must be 10 times better than odst by that line of thinking, and the wii must be better than the 360. Mendon #13 Posted October 6, 2009 I almost fell out of my chair laughing at "Xbox Elite... now $100 off (but we'll make it back up on broadband adapters and hard drives). Mendon

Mendon Can't say I disagree with that. I paid about $35 for a USB WiFi adapter with 108 A/G... which is what their current adapter is. I also just found a Zonet 802.11N USB adapter for $23 ($13 after rebate) this morning. MS will probably charge $100 for their new N adapter.
