chriswhit #1 Posted October 9, 2009 I see on ebay that theres a bunch of Frogger Three deep carts but they all say there for the Coleco vision. To me they look like a standard Parker Brothers 2600 cart. What do you guys think? I just got a coleco but don't know anything about them and would rather have a 2600 version. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250501893528&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300349893219&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Tr3vor #2 Posted October 9, 2009 they should have took pics of the backs of the carts, that would make it a lot easier to recongize. also, i wouldnt trust the first link, cuz they use what looks like a stock photo, if you dont see what you get, you dont know what your getting. to me it looks like a colecovision cart, but thats me. fiddlepaddle #3 Posted October 9, 2009 Photo (second link) looks like a Colecovision cart; you can kind of see the tapered edges.

misspent_youth #8 Posted October 11, 2009 Don't CV Parker Brothers carts have beige backgrounds on the labels and 2600 carts have silver backgrounds? Both those pics you linked have beige backgrounds, and at least one of the two is certainly a CV cart. Can someone please definitively confirm or disprove this? dangevin #9 Posted October 13, 2009 Does "Threeedeep" actually mean anything? I always thought it was just a play on words. The three screens for each level, and the sound a frog supposedly makes, "needeep."
AtariLeaf #10 Posted October 13, 2009 Pretty sure its CV. BTW, the Atari 8-bit version has the beige label too.

Additionaly, I would also think that it is also a play on 3-D. (Which was quite popular in the '80s)
